Electric Forest Gear For Walking With Your Baby

From the time I had my first encounter with a power-walking system, I have been trying to understand how and why it works. One of the things that struck me was the fact that it seemed like such a simple concept–electric shock treatment! I mean, electrocuting someone with a pulse gun would work just as well, right? And electric forest gear is no different!

As I sat there watching the guy walking his dog (I had no idea what he did for a living), I started to think about all of the possibilities. If you could treat someone for a few minutes with nothing but your mind and zap their brain with electricity, you could pretty much do anything. And, we are not talking about medical treatments here. We are talking about walking a few miles every day, while triggering small shocks in their brain with the power of your own mind. That’s pretty amazing, isn’t it?

I had no idea that this concept had been explored before. And, it turns out, someone had actually used this method as a therapy for patients with obsessive-compulsive disorders. The patient wears a pacemaker connected to a set of electrodes, which are hooked up to a computer. When the person walks, the electrodes are triggered by muscle movement, sending a low-voltage shock to the muscle causing it to contract. It can only be done if the person is walking, since if they were on a bike, the shock would be too strong.

The amazing thing is that I watched him walk, without being shocked! He was kind of in a “I’m just going to take this walk” sort of mode. It was quiet, peaceful, and it was very relaxing. I wish I had worn the walking gauntlet myself!

I have used electric walking gear before, and while I don’t recommend it for everyone, for people with muscle tension, or who need to really feel their feet being driven, it can work wonders. But, it must be worn properly. And, for best results, it is recommended that you use a pair of walking shoes with soles made of rubber, rather than ones made of plastic, or any other material. And, the soles must be the right shape for your feet, and for what you will be using the walking equipment for. For example, if you are looking to reduce tension in your lower body, you may want to use the electric forest gear with a mat, which has a back brace to prevent the mat from slipping away from the body.

Don’t worry too much about finding a partner to walk with. In fact, I have one of those walking babies, whose job is to walk with me. She is 9 months old and very gentle. She can keep up to a pretty good distance, even in the beginning. And, she will let you walk in the beginning too!
